29.10.2019  |  by Cato Verhoeven  |  Designalism

Irene Stracuzzi is a graphic designer. She focusses on exploring visual strategies to design research and disseminate information in a convincing way, turning complex topics into accessible formats.

Irene: "I see myself as somebody that takes information that's already out there and just propose it in a different way, in a way that's more understandable from a perspective of feeling instead of more a cerebral reading."

Irene doesn't believe in neutrality in her field of work. "I don't think there's possibility of neutrality, because even in the moment that you choose what data to represent, you're making a specific choice. It doesn't mean that this data you're displaying is incorrect or wrong, but visualization always leads to a specific interpretation of what you're showing."

Find out more about Irene, her projects and her view on her work on Spotify, Google Podcasts and Apple Podcasts.
