Meet Mieke Gerritzen and Lara Ankersmit

From now on, Mieke Gerritzen and Lara Ankersmit are members of the Supervisory Board of stichting ACED. With this great expertise our board is back at full strength. The Supervisory Board is composed in such a way that the members are jointly able to assess the main points of the policy. Also each member has specific knowledge in one or more sub-areas. In addition, founder Noortje van Eekelen will fulfil the role of managing director.
Mieke Gerritzen is designer, curator and director of The Image Society. Until 2017 she was director of MOTI, international museum of visual culture. Then she founded the Image Society. She initiates and organises discussions, exhibitions and events with designers, artists and authors about visual culture, design and digital culture.
Lara Ankersmit is Deputy Editor-in-Chief Digital at Het Financieele Dagblad. From 2011 to 2019, Ankersmit was responsible for the Digital Media department at NOS. There she started, among other the NOS Innovation Lab. She came from TMG, where she held various web positions. Ankersmit has extensive experience in journalism, digital media and design.
